What a great quote. Amera got me a good book entitled. "Wisdom of the Prophets; Success" it has great quotes by the prophets, and is definitely a good read. This quote is a great quote for someone like me, who struggles with my own life, and success. 'We must rise by our own efforts' in other words, we need to use our strength, and our own choices, and hold ourselves accountable for the outcome of them. we must 'walk in faith' and stay true to the iron rod, and follow our Lord in faith. As for me, this is a great quote, and i hope you too can enjoy this quote. Also go pick up the book at Deseret Book!
None Were With Him
Jeffry R. Holland tells us during last conference about how we need to remember this easter time, and in all times, not just Easter weekend, but to be able to remember that we are his children, and that he is and will always be there for us. I love this because it's a great way to visualize what it is that he(Holland) wanted to enterprate. I think that this is a great way for us to restore and continue to grow our testimony that we have for our love of our Savior.
